1 - Extract entitled Huntingdonshire: being part of the Iceni, and ancient kingdom of the Mercians containing a brief description of the county and of the five market towns (Huntingdon, Godmanchester, St. Ives, St. Neots and Kimbolton). The extract is undated, but is pasted on to a sheet of paper, on which the year 1695 is written.
2 - Reprint from the General Evening Post, concerning the case of Christopher Lovel of Bristol, who was touched by the Old Pretender for the King's Evil [otherwise known as Scrofula - a swelling of the Lymph nodes in the neck caused by Tuberculosis. It was believed that a touch from the reigning monarch would cure the disease].
3 - Copy of the newspaper The Diary, or Woodfall's Register, containing article on a meeting of the inhabitants of Norman Cross Hundred on 1 Dec. 1792, at which they declared their attachment to the constitution, and would endeavour to discourage all attempts to excite sedition, and disturb the public peace and good order.
