Strips in the open fields and inclosures scattered over most of the parish, but mostly concentrated in Ashanger Field, near the church (which is drawn in elevation). 68 - Copy of private estate map, Almeshoebury, the Estate of George Whittingstall Esq..... Surveyed 1810 by Thomas Brown 20 in to 1 m. 33 1/3 x 28 1/2. Tracing. Estate lies mainly in a compact block in Ippollitts parish with a few fields in East of Hitchin Parish. Fields are named, numbered and the acreage is marked. Woodland and pasture is coloured green. The numbering refers to an attached copy of the Schedule to Plan of Almeshoebury Estate, which names the fields the parish, state of cultivation, and area. A small schedule gives the number of the plots on the Hitchin Plan and the Bowyers Plan with their area. Memorandum Office copy W.T. Nash

72 - Private Estate Map, Estate......The Property of William Kenrick Esq (copied from the Award made in 1795) October 1846 10 in to 1 m. 36.5 x 29. Tracing. The property of William Kenrick covers the greater part of the parish, so that most of the fields are drawn. The Allotments are numbered and the acreage given, and similarly for the old inclosures which are also named. A Reference to the Allotments names the fields, the state of cultivation, and quantity and a Reference to the Old Inclosures gives the field names and ity quantity. Area of Allotments 846a. 1r. 3p., and total area 1146a. 0r 32p. (see 296/B0645 P.31 for a valuation in 1858 - 1859)

Fields are numbered, and the key provides the names and acreages. State of cultivation is sometimes marked in pencil, and the names of adjoining landowners are given. Total area 238a.3r.26p
75 - Sale plan. Plan of Preston Hill Farm ... to be sold by auction by Cockett and Nash, 1848. 13 1/3 in to 1 m. 14 x 20. Same area as 296/P074. Fields are numbered, but no key provided. Pasture is coloured green, and two plots of land are edged with blue, probably for sale as separate lots
76 - Copy of the Southern part of Tithe Apportionment Map for Layston with Buntingford, 26 2/3 in to 1 m. 37 x 89. Linen tracing. Covers the southern portion of the parish, round Owles, stretching from the A.10 to the B.1368, and includes a couple of fields on the East in Great Hormead. Open field names and tithe numbers. Some plots numbered in red. (Tithe map dated 1838)

80 - Private Estate Map. Plan of Estates the property of Francis Pym Esq 26 2/3 in to 1 m. 42 x 51. The estate lies in the north of Norton parish, with a couple of fields in the south of Radwell. Fields are numbered, and acreage marked. Pasture coloured green. A Schedule of quantities gives the acreage of the fields, both of the portion of the estate which was surveyed in 1848, and the portion taken from the inclosure map of Norton of 1796. Survey lines

A Compact block of land, covering the whole of the present parish of Rushden with a few fields to the North of Shaw Green in Wallington Parish and land to the south and west of Cumberlow Green in Clothall. Field names and acreages. Fields numbered and lettered. Some are numbered twice with different series of numbers, one being in red ink, which according to a note on the map refer to the tithe map of Rushden. some fields coloured yellow, others green

Open field names allottees, acreage of old inclosures. A Reference to small allotments and ancient inclosure gives the tenure and acreage of 3 plots. A note mentions that exchanged land is coloured green, but this has not been done on this copy. Memorandum that it was Inrolled in Her Majesty's Court of Common Pleas at Westminster of the term of Saint Michael in the Sixth Year of the Reign of Queen Victoria
87 - Copy of Inclosure Award Map for Sandon, 13 1/3 in to 1 m. 67 x 32. tracing. Similar to 296/P086, except that many of the plots sketched in on the above are not included.
88 - Draft Tithe Map, William Thomas Nash, Royston, Herts., 26 2/3 in to 1 m. 53 x 36. The map projects 4 on the East and 3 on the west to include the broader northern portion of the parish. Surveyors working copy. Whole parish, some open fields and commons are named. Tithe Nos Tithe commission receipt stamps, 8 March and 25 June 1847.
