TitleService on Market Hill, Huntingdon, possibly 1953 Coronation
DescriptionAn unidentified service on Market Hill. It was suggested on an earlier list that it may have possibly been an Armistice Day service after the second world war, but the tree outside All Saints church is in leaf. Possibly it is a service to celebrate the Coronation of Elizabeth II - note the plaque with the Queen's head surrounded by flags above the entrance door to Wykham House. The van parked by the railings of All Saints church has "Television" written above the rear doors and a large megaphone attched to the roof.
Members of the clergy are on a raised dais erected outside Wykham House on Market Hill, and a small group of onlookers have gathered, many holding umbrellas - and Coronation Day was a rainy day.
