The dog cart, or light carriage, is standing in a yard, presumably in Windover's Carriage works in George Street, Huntingdon. Charles Windover came to Huntingdon in 1856, taking over the carriage works set up by a Francis Armstrong in the 1820s. By 1899 the factory had branched out into making motorcar bodies, and it ceased business in the 1920s |
