DescriptionThe Hunts Post of the 8th February 1934 carried this photograph entitled "Do You Remember? We wonder how many of our readers can recall the occasion of the above picture and supply names of those in this Gipsy group?" By the next edition it had been identified as being part of the Elizabethan Revels held at Hinchingbrooke on the 4th July 1914. The chief organiser was Mrs Scott-Gatty, and the late Earl of Sandwich took a prominent part in the proceedings. Some 500 performers took part. The newspaper report is long, and the performers are named as -" Lady Emily Dyke, Mrs MG Maule, Mrs D Cooper, Mrs Frant, Mrs Barber, Mrs Mitchell, Mrs Hopkinson, Miss Draper, Mrs Pople, Mary Gyte, Mrs Hawley, Misses F Pettit, Baker, Green, Stafford, Mason (2), A Clark, Woodford, Messrs. K Hunnybun, V Thompson, S Thompson, J Gardner, A Pettit, W Herbert, RW Woolley, E Mason, Gentle, A Graham, W Yarnold & Weaser; Nelson Brown, Doris Yarnold, Doris Hughes, Hazel Barklay, Jack Purser, Isabella Scarfe (children), Miss Hilda Cattell, Miss Cooper, Miss Olive Hignett, Miss Queenie Slack, Miss G Harris, Miss Foster, Miss L Coles, Miss Nancy Maule, Miss Jessie Maule, Miss R Sarll, Miss L Albini etc."
