Description | Body to be buried in church of Saint Matthew in the chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary, next to his father; legacies to Willingham Church, the said chapel, and the altar of Saint Nicholas, the Friars Minor in Cambridge, the church of All Saints in Longstanton, of Childerley, of Waresley (Hunts), of Newton, of Barton and of Great Oakley (Northants), the Guild of Holy Trinity, Robert Toche; 10, 11 or 12 men to be enfeoffed with lands etc. of Chantry of Blessed Mary in Willingham, and the churchwardens to be the patrons; 12 roods of rich meadow in Shelowholys opposite le Bargehous to Henry Tylyard, chaplain of the chantry, and his successors; tenement with croft where John Bayly now stays to William Greystok, during the lifetime of Joan, testator's wife; tenement occupied by John Pewy for the like term, to him; tenement occupied by Thomas Sawle for the like term, to Thomas Wynfield; manor etc. in Willingham to Joan, his wife, except the above, for life, and then to Isabella Bendissh, his sister, on condition that it is sold with the advice of Master Robert Williamson Rector of Willingham, and with the proceeds lands etc. acquired to provide sufficient salary for the chaplain of the said chantry, and half the cost of a vestibule over the porch of Willingham Church, if it is wanted; Henry Tyhard to have the chantry for life.
