DescriptionBody to be buried in Hempstead Church, by the stone of John Grigge, one of his ancestors. Personal property to Margaret, his wife. Lands etc, in Great Sampford, Little Sampford, Great Radwinter, Little Radwinter, Finchingfield, Ashdon, Bartlow, Steventon, Helion Bumpstead, Steeple Bumpstead and Hempstead, Essex, conveyed to him and others by the Vicar of Great Sampford, William Stevenes of Hempstead, clerk, and John Jowde of Radwinter, to be quitclaimed by the other trustees to Margaret, his wife, and his heir, whenever she requires, and then to his heirs. His feoffees of manor of Trumpington to convey it to Margaret, his wife, for life, and then to his second son. His feoffees of messuage called Crowchmannes cornere in the town of Cambridge to let her receive rents etc. during minority of his heir, and then to his heir. Manor of Thriplow, after death of Agnes Wyncelow, to his third son for life, and then to his heir. Manor of Sawston, after death of Elizabeth Hamlyn, former wife of John Huntyngdon, his father, to his heirs.
