Transliteration: A presentment made the ten day of December by the Jevvies (Jury) of Woolley the XXX VI (year) of the raigne of Sovereyne Ladie Elizabeth by the Grace of God Quene of England, France and Ireland, defender of the faith. Imprimis we find that John Newman did deliver unto the hands of Thomas Balle a surrender of his whole farm with all and singular the appurtenancies and in like manner another surrender delivered of his copyhold close called Collins Close in the presence of Thomas Grene and William Squier to the use of William Hill and his heares or assignes according to the custome. We finds that Ribert Bassingham hath over charged the commone...We finds that Robert Bassingham hath anoyed the hye waye with an...Item that no man shall sell anie bushes in the skales for the spase of tenne yeares on the payne of tenue shillings. We finds that Sir Robert Mountfort hath not paid the neathand his wages...(in another hand) We fynde that John Newman did surrender al hys copeholds lands and tenements in Wolye in to the handes of Thomas Bayete to the yeues (use) of William Hyle the younger and hys (his) hyeres and asyenes a cordyng to the custom in the presentes of Thomas Greene Wylliam Squeagers and William Hyle the eldere
