| Description | Carlton covenants with Thomas Kington of Upwood, grocer, that, with the Licence of the Lord of the Manor of Upwood, he will grant to Kington a lease for 21 years at a rent of £130. p.a. of the messuage, tenement or farm house with the homestall yard outbuildings orchard garden and oppurtances belonging, being in Upwood, and 57 ac of land lying in the fields of Upwood, all of which premises are now in the occupation of Carlton. Endorsed: Given up by Mr. Day by direction of Kington for whom he held it. 6th April, 1832. |
