Admission of Mary, wife of John Beard of Ramsey, grazier, and Philip. wife of Simon Toseland of Hemingford Abbotts, yeoman, sisters and coheirs of Francis Young, deceased, to one messuage late Johnsons, one close of pasture called the Home Close (2½ ac), 12ac of land formerly Hodsons, 12 ac of land formerly Gills, 7 ac 3r of land one little close of pasture called Walkers Corner, lying next to the 7 ac 3r of land 4ac, of land formerly Oldfields, 3 ac 2r of land formerly Browns, 7 ac of land formerly Oliver Youngs, 4 ac of land called Beards Peice, 2 ac of meadow calles Silks Meadow, 2 ac of meadow formerly Browns, one land with a Quickhedge formerly Taylors, 18 ac of land formerly Mary Archdeacons, 4 ac 3r of land formerly Bretts, 1/3 ac of meadow and 1/3rd part of 45 poles of meadow on the death of Francis Young. Mary and Philip also acknowledged that they held freely of the lord of the manor one acre of meadow formerly Phillip Youngs and one freehold Fen Lot formerly Stephen Goslins. |
