DescriptionReciting that Serjeants lands were mortgaged and that on the 9th - 10th September 1773, Sejeant released some of these to Robert Grimditch of Chatteris, Isle of Ely, gent, upon trust to sell same and to apply the monies towards paying the mortgage to Overall; that Grimditch had sold all but freehold messuage and adjoining yard, and that Serjeant now owed Grmditch £220 2sh 1d. Now Serjeant to Grimditch, £220 2sh 1d. The freehold messuage in the High Street Ramsey, the toft laying next to it and all the lands and appurtenances belonging to them. Also covenants to surrender the copyhold in R4/3/1 and R4/3/2.
