Description | William Martin. eldest son and heir at law of William Martin late of Bury, farmer, deceased, to close of pasture, commonly called Blackgrove (3 acres) and 22 acres of land, to which his father was admitted in 1773, on the surrender of Robert Sparrow, to messuage with lot of fen ground belonging 2½ acres of arable land, 1 acre of ley ground and 5 acres of meadow, to which his father was admitted in 1775 on the surrender of Thomas Pooley, and to house, close of pasture called Francis's piece (4 acres), close of pasture called Bentley Meadow (4 acres), close of pasture called Black Grove (2 acres), 1p. of meadow and 45 acres of arable land, to which his father was admitted in 1784 as eldest son and devisee of late Jonathan Martin, subject to an anniuty of £20 payable to his mother, Hannah Martin, during her life, and then to a payment of £200 to his sister, Elizabeth Martin. |
