DescriptionAmong other things, to his son, Francis Ibberson, 3 Muchwood Parts, Ramsey, late Salmons, messuage or tenement near the Forty Foot River or Drain in Benwick with the outbuildings etc, and the 200 acres of fen ground lying next to the above dewelling house in Benwick, purchased of William Papworth, 50 acres of fen in Ramsey adjoining the above 200 acres; also purchased of Papworth, messuage and buildings in Benwick with 244 acres commonly called Morris's Farm, and a farm and 300 acres in Benwick commonly called Benwick Meer, together with the fishing there called two Boat Gangs at Benwick in a certain water there called Ware Meere with the sets and lakes belonging to the Boatgangs, with 3 other waters there called Newstalls, Dolweare and Waterweare being part of Benwicke Meer and formerly part of the possessions of the late Monastery of Huntingdon with the water in Benwick called the Town Water with 2 Wears belonging to the same being other part of the Meer and formerly part of the possessions of the late Monastery of Crowland with the water in Benwick called Mouth Water being other part of the Meer and also piece of land in Benwick formerly part of the Old River and now called the River Brow (6 acres), charged nevertheless with a legacy of £50, an annuity of £2:10:0d and a mortgage payment of £400 and interest to Richard Beaty of Peterbrough, Northants, draper.
