TitleIn the dispute between the parishes of Swavesey and Chesterton conerning the settlement of Sarah Holmes it is ordered that two JPs shall hear the matter and determine her settlement. Since John Brooke of Harlton, tailor, has abused his apprentice William Gimbert (apprenticed to him for 10 years, which expire on 4th March next) by beating him immoderately, Gimbert is to be discharged from his apprenticeship. In the dispute between parishes of Whaddon and Bassingbourn concerning the liability for the repair of the highway between Kneesworth and Arrington Bridge it is ordered that two JPs shall hear and settle the matter.
