Description(a). A railway commencing in the parish of St Andrew the Less, by a junction with the Cambridge and Ely main line and terminating in the parish of Swaffham Prior. (b). A railway commencing by a junction with (a) and terminating in Fordham by a junction with the Ely and Newmarket railway. (c). A railway commencing in Fordham by a junction with the Ely and Newmarket Railway and terminating in the parish of Barton Mills (county Suffolk). Passing through the following parishes: (a) St Andrew the Less in Cambridge, Fen Ditton, Horningsea, Quy, Bottisham, Swaffham Bulbeck, Swaffham Prior, (all in county Cambridgeshire) (b). Swaffham Prior, Burwell (both county Cambridgeshire) Exning (county Suffolk). Fordham (county Cambridgeshire). (c). Fordham and Isleham (both county Cambridgeshire) Freckenham and Worlington (county Suffolk). Scale: Plans and sections: Horizontal 6 chains (132 yards) to 1 inch. Vertical 60 feet to 1 inch. Cross sections: Horizontal 3 chains (66 yards) to 1 inch. Vertical 40 feet to 1 inch.
