DescriptionDescription. 1. Construction of a tramway to leave existing line at Hyde Park Corner and travel along Gonville Place, East Road, Newmarket Road (Western end), Maid's Causeway, Emmanuel Road, Emmanuel Street, to rejoin main line at St Andrew's Street. 2. Extension of the existing line from King's Parade (near St Mary's Passage), and passing by the Senate House Hill and into Market Street. Passing through the following parishes: 1. St Andrew the Less, St Benedict, Holy Trinity, St Andrew the Great (all in Cambridge). 2. St Mary the Great (Cambridge). Comprising: Plan and section, 3 sheets, each 22" x 30". Scales: 1. Plan and section: Horizontal 3 chains (66 yards) to 1 inch. Section: Vertical 40 feet to 1 inch. 2. Plan and section: Horizontal 45 feet to 1 inch. Section: Vertical 40 feet to 1 inch. Engineer: Thomas Floyd. Act: Victoria 43-4, ch. clxxii (1880)
