Commencing in the City of Ely, in Minster Place, at Eastern end of St Mary's Road, opposite the Lamb Hotel, and passing in a South-easterly direction along Minster Place, the Gallery, Back Hill, Railway Terrace, and along the turnpike road to Soham, and terminating opposite the George and Dragon Inn. Tramway number 2. Commencing opposite the Angel Inn, Railway Terrace, Ely, and passing along Station Road, forking in a South-easterly direction and terminating outside the entrance to the railway station. Tramway number 3. Commencing 4 chains (88 feet) North of High Bridge, and passing in a South-westerly direction and terminating outside Ely Goods Station. Tramway number 4. Commencing at termination of tramway number 1, (opposite the George and Dragon Inn, Soham) passing on in a south-easterly direction along the public road, turnpike road, and terminating opposite the Red Lion Inn, Fordham. Tramway number 5. in continuation of number 4, passing along the road from Fordham to Newmarket, past the clock tower, and terminating at the front entrance of the railway station, Newmarket. Passing through the following parishes: Ely, Soham, Fordham (all in county Cambridgeshire) Exning, All Saints, Newmarket (both county Suffolk). Comprising: Plans and sections 8 sheets, 22" x 31".
