Railway commencing in Ely (intermixed parishes of Holy Trinity and St Mary) by a junction with the Great Eastern Railway line and terminating in the parish of Gazeley (county Suffolk) by a junction with the railway from Newmarket to Bury St Edmunds (G.E.R.), 3/4 mile West of Higham Station. Passing through the following parishes: Ely, Holy Trinity and St Mary, Soham, Fordham, Isleham (all in county Cambridgeshire). Freckenham, Worlington, Barton, Tuddenham, Herringswell, Gazeley (all in county Suffolk). Comprising: Plans and sections, 10 sheets, each 23" x 30". Printed summary of bill. Ordnance survey sheet, scale 1 inch to 1 mile. Scales. Plans and sections: Horizontal 6 chains (132 yards) to 1 inch. Vertical 60 feet to 1 inch. Cross sections: Horizontal 4 chains (88 yards) to 1 inch. Vertical 40 feet to 1 inch. Engineers: Lucas and Wilkinson.
