DescriptionTitle of Act. Great Eastern Railway Act, 1912. Description. 1. Widening of line from Ely Dock junction to Barraway Siding, (G.E.R. line, Ely to Newmarket). 2. Widening and improvement of main Cambridge line between Sawston and Whittlesford and Sawston siding. 3. Additional lands at Oakington, Padnal siding at Prickwillow in the parish of Ely Trinity, land at Chatteris (all in county Cambridgeshire). Passing through the following parishes: 1. Ely St Mary, Ely Trinity, Soham (all in county Cambridgeshire). 2. Whittlesford and Sawston (both county Cambridgeshire). Comprising. Plans and sections. 3 sheets, each 22" x 30". (2 signed copies). Book of reference. Printed summary of bill (NB. This bill contains many items outside Cambridgeshire). Ordnance survey sheets (2) Scale 1 inch to 1 mile. Scales: Plans and sections: Horizontal 3 chains (66 yards) to 1 inch. Cross sections: Horizontal 4 chains (88 yards) to 1 inch. Engineer. Henry Jones. Act 2-3 George V, ch.xxxvi. NB. This Act authorised only part of the above work.
