DescriptionTitle Intended Railway commencing by a junction with the Northern and Eastern Extension Railway, in the parish of Newport in the County of Norfolk. Also of an Intended Railway from Ely to Peterborough, and of a Branch Railway to Wisbech in the county of Cambridge.
1. Construction of a railway from Newport (county Essex) to Thetford (county Norfolk).
2. Construction of a railway from Ely (county Cambridgeshire) to Peterborough, with a branch to March (county Cambridgeshire). Passing through the following parishes:
1. Newport, Wendons Ambo, Littlebury (all in county Essex). Ickleton (county Cambridgeshire). Great Chesterford, Trumpington, St. Andrew the Less in Cambridge, Fen Ditton, Chesterton, Milton, Waterbeach, Stretham, hamlet of Thetford in Stretham, Ely Trinity and Ely St. Mary, (all in the county Cambridgeshire). Mildenhall, Lakenheath, Brandon, (all in the county Suffolk). Weeting, hamlet of Broomhill in Weeting, Santon, Thetford (all in county Norfolk).
2. Ely Trinity and Ely St.Mary, Witchford, Coveney, Witcham, Chatteris, Doddington, Benwick in the parish of Doddington, Whittlesey, Stanground (all in county of Cambridgeshire), Fletton (county Huntingdonshire)
2a. Leaving number 2 in March in the parish of Doddington, and passing through the parishes of Doddington, Elm and Wisbech St Peter (all in county Cambridgeshire). Comprising: Plans and sections: Horizontal 5 chains (110 yards) to 1 inch. Vertical 100 feet to 1 inch. Cross sections: Horizontal 5 chains (110 yards) to 1 inch. Vertical 50 feet to 1 inch.
