DescriptionWater Orders Confirmation (Number 2) Act 1884. Description. 1. Construction of a well and pumping station, Cheveley. 2. Line of pipes from number 1 terminating in the road leading from Newmarket to Cambridge at the Cheveley/Newmarket St Marys boundary. 3. A reservoir in Exning, in a field adjoining South Field Farm. 4. A line of pipes leading from number 3 along the road from Newmarket to Cambridge, terminating at the Exning/Newmarket St Marys boundary. The above works to be carried out in the following parishes 1 and 2. Cheveley (county Cambridgeshire). 3 and 4. Exning (county Suffolk). Comprising. Plan and sections: 1 sheet, 23" x 29". Scale. Horizontal 6 chains (132 yards) to 1 inch. Vertical 80 feet to 1 inch. Engineer. Edward Easton and Co. Act 47048 Victoria, ch.lxxix, 1884.
