The shop of James Ashton & Son, Ironmongers, at 66 High Street can be seen on the left while the large brick house beyond is the Falcon Brewery House. Ambury House stands opposite on the north side of the High Street, while Montagu House, which at this date stood at the end of the High Street, but which today is separated by the ring road, can be seen in the distance. This is an identical image to WH2/49
