DescriptionThis is a poor print of this shunting engine. The driver stands in the open cab, and another figure can just be made out standing at the front of the engine. A plate with "Manning Wardle & Co Leeds 1877 No. 634" is attached to the engine. Manning Wardle was a steam locomotive manufacturer based in Hunslett, Leeds, and operated from 1858-1926. They concentrated on building specialised locomotives for contractor’s use, building up a range of locomotives suitable for all types of contracting work. The location of this engine is unidentified
