DescriptionArchitect's drawing of Trinity Church, Huntingdon. The architect was John Tarring, the official architect to the Congregational Building Society. The builders were Messrs Charles Raikes Maile and George Richardson of Huntingdon. The clearing of the site and the demolition of the Dolphin Inn started in 1866, and by 1867 Maile & Richardson, both members of the church, had been appointed as builders. The ledger of George Richardson for this period has recently been deposited in the Archives (Accession 5667). The foundation stone of this church was laid on the 22 May 1867 by Thomas Coote of Fenstanton and the church was formally opened on the 16 September 1868. Ernest Whitney has captioned this print"Architects drawi ng of Trinity Church Huntingdon"
