TitleHuntingdon High Street, from corner with George Street.
DescriptionView of Huntingdon High Street at the junction of George Street. On the extreme left of the view is the shop of Luther Rous Dalgleish, Chemist, at 101 High Street, then the shop of CA Budds, jeweller, at 102 High Street, and then Peacock's the harness and saddle makers at 103 High Street. Peacock's closed in 1910, when WH Clayton, also a harness and saddle maker moved into this shop. The Boer War memorial, which was unveiled in 1903, has not yet been built - the fountain which stood on the site can be seen against the All Saints church railings on the right of the image.
