Two acres of land lying in Mannhowedelle (boundaried given) and all the pieces of meadow which William de Askeby, brother of Cecilia, wife of 1., held at the town of Repp (Repps, Norfolk) 2. to pay 1. 12d per year. Witnesses: Nicholas Vitcessarius, William de Gimmingham, John de Fleg, Roger de Suffeld, Richard de Repp', Robert de Landes, Hubert Hakun, Simon Hauteyn, William FitzAlan, Alexander his son, Humphrey de Gravele, Radulf his brother and many others. (This deed was in a frame, when removed from the frame a letter was found behind the deed. It was addressed to: Mr. Bolter, the Museum, Yarmouth. It came deom: John Pate, Bury. Its date 23 July 1888. Contents: Pate is sending with this note the conveyance which he had promised Bolter) (The deed probably refers to land in Norfolk) Temporary Commission in the Royal Naval Reserve.
