DescriptionAt front: minutes of vestry at which proposal by Dr. Smith, Rector and Lord of manors in parish to construct at his expense a new road, 30 ft. wide, 350 ft. long, in place of existing road from Willingham Road on west to Saint Neots Road on south-east, in order to employ the poor, was accepted by parish, and construction was ordered, 1832.
At back: vestry order for employment of men by surveyor on roadside ditches, 1829; list of married labourers to be employed, n.d.; agreements by farmers to employ certain numbers of married men, 1831; numbers of boys to be employed by farmers, 1830 - 1831; vestry order appointing assistant overseer, 1832.
