Rent of 1d paid to William Bowmer, Vicar of St. Mary's, Swaffham Prior for a parcel of land adjoining St. Mary's Church. 50s. paid out of the town stock by David Bachus as the penalty for leaving the town gateless and for the Churchwardens' neglect to carry out the provisions of the statute concerning the destruction of vermin. on Bill for erecting the 'fenne - lane gate'. 1st July 1576.

Details of the finding of the commissioners appointed in Chancery, Edward, Lord North, Sir James Dyer, Chief Justice of the Common Pleas and Andrew Pearne D.D. as reported to a meeting held at the Rose Inn, Cambridge, 6 October 1598; including the bequests of William Thompson and Joseph Haynes.
