Declaration by Henry Montagu re. several sums of money paid to his cousin, Gregory Isham of Bugbrook [Northants] (19 Feb 1600/1601).

Bargain and sale. Between: i) Sir Edward Montagu of Boughton [Northants]; ii) his brother, Sir Henry Montagu, Recorder of the City of London. Manor and Lordship of Colmworth [Beds] (20 Jun 1604).

Assignment by Robert Brett of Edmelton [Edmonton? Middlesex], gentleman. Referring to a lease by Henry Peache of Wilburton [Northants] and Elizabeth his wife (daughter and co-heir of Peter Tonge of Astley [Warks]) to John Lowman of the Inner Temple, a messuage in Aldersgate Street [Aldgate] in the parish of St Botolph Without [London] (22 Sep 1610).

Lease. Between: i) Roger Montagu, Citizen and skinner of London and John Hope the elder of London, gentleman; ii) Thomas Thynne of Biddestone [Wilts]; Humfrey Colles of Prestbury [Glocs], gentleman. Site of the Manor of Prestbury with several closes etc. (8 Apr 1616).

Bargain and sale. Between: i) John Sotherton the elder, Baron of the Exchequer; Christopher Sotherton and John Wootton of London, gentlemen; ii) John Sotherton the younger, gentleman, son and heir of John Sotherton the elder. Rectory of Frampton [Lincs] with the advowson (22 Mar 1621/2).

Bond. George Kettle and Robert, Earl of Warwick (10 May 1634).

Lease. Between: George, Earl of Rutland, one of the Committee of the Custody of George now Duke of Buckingham, his Majesty's ward; Randal Macdonnell, Lord Dunluce, son and heir apparent of Sir Randal Macdonnel, Earl of Antrim [Ireland]; Lady Katherine, Duchess of Buckingham, wife of the said Lord Dunluce and mother of the said ward; ii) Sir Peter Osborne of London. Capital mansion house known as the "great house" at Chelsey [Chelsea, Middlesex] (31 Mar 1636/7).

Assignment. Between: i) Anne, Countess of Manchester; ii) Thomas Railton of Westminster, gentleman, and Richard Butler of Grets Inn. For £500 borrowed by (i), of two bonds by Richard Tilden, carpenter, and Thomas Hilliard of Shoreditch (12 Apr 1687).
