DescriptionContaining reports and other paperwork, largely dating from 1871 onwards. Includes:

Quarterly reports and Adjutant's Diary 1863-1871: giving total enrolled numbers, recruits, ranks, rates of pay etc. Also a daily log of Adjutant's duties.

Drill returns 1871-1872 (for the Light Horse and Rifle Volunteers).

Nominal roll of person's enrolled and now serving in the Volunteers (i.e. former soldiers), mainly referring to Officers.

List of 'efficient' men with their enrolment dates 1876-1881.

Oath and attestation papers for: Henry Herbert, Daniel Geary, Robert Scott Dorling, John Barber.

Military record of Stephen Donohoe.

List of subscribers to a fund for the relief of the family of the late Sergeant Major Barber 1869.

Application from John Hargove to transfer from the 21st Hussars 1879.
