Concerning 4 pieces of arable land lying in vill of Stoke in field called Hoglowe containing by estimate 19 acres of land and 1 acre of meadow:
(i) (ii) 1st and 2nd pieces of land lie between land late of Thomas Sudbury mason who held by copy [per copia] lately deceased on the one part and land lately called Ducisse now in the hands of the king on the other part and containing by estimate 10 acres
(iii) 3rd part called Sorell lying between land late of John Coote on one part and land of the king lately in hands of Thomas Sudbury on the land, estimated at 6 acres
(iv) 4th part between land of Thomas Brewster on the one part and the King’s way [viam Reg’] leading to the vill of Stoke up to Boytonstrete on the other, estimated at 3 acres
(v) an acre of meadow lying in meadow called Bradmad[?cot] next to the old river in Stoke.
This was given by Thomas (also John Hadlegh, William Barker, John Fon’, Thomas Hordel, Robert Stronde, John Davy, John Everyd, John Alger, Reginald Dyke and John Spycer) to John Coote and John Clapton armiger, 10 March 1486.
