Grant. Between: i) Sir Edward Montagu of Boughton [Northants]; ii) Charles Montagu, fourth son of the said Sir Edward Montagu. Close of pasture called Graythorn Hill in Elkington [Northants], sometime parcel of the lands of the lately dissolved Monastery of Pipewell; additional properties in Yelvertoft, Winwick, Clay Coton and Lilbourne [all Northants]. (24 May 36 Eliz. 1594).

Indenture. Between: i) Sir Henry Montagu; ii) Sir Charles Montagu of London. Closes of pasture called Crathorne Hill in Elkington; two closes called High Field and Blacklands in Elkington with the meadowgrounds... with several other properties also in Elkington. (17 Jun 15 James I, 1617).

Indenture. Between: i) Henry Williams als. Cromwell the elder of Ramsey, and Henry Williams als. Cromwell the younger, his son and heir, and William Williams als. Cromwell, third son of Sir Williams als. Cromwell; ii) Elizabeth Lake, daughter of Elizabeth Lake, widow, late wife of William Lake of Putney [Surrey]. Farm at Bury and various grounds called Hill Close als. Great Hill Close als. Home Close, Parsons B...[?], Sheep Walk, Farm Field, Little Underhill. (14 May 1656).

Release. Between: i) Henry Williams also. Cromwell of Ramsey, Ralph Gore of Panshanger in Hertford; ii) Henry Bainbrigg of London. Manor of Lordship of Bury cum Hepmangrove with the rectory etc, also Bury Farm in the occupation of Stephen Usher and various closes called Wigwell, Hill Close, Sheepwalk etc. (13 May 1662).
