Title | Letter to the Duke of Manchester, from his son, Viscount Mandeville, Cavendish Square [London] |
Description | He and Count A [presumably von Alten] went to Kimbolton. The Count was delighted with the trip and admired the farm buildings at Covington and the steam engine. Dudgeon made them an excellent dinner. They also went to Huntingdon but heard from Sandwich that his grandmother was in town. Bollard thinks there will be more birds than expected. Ladds told Hill that his grandmother has turned off her keeper and lets her tenants shoot "out of spite I suppose." |
