DescriptionWith thanks for the offer of the Duke's book "Court and Society". He visited Kimbolton in 1812 when the Duke's grandfather showed him many bundles of letters "in the greatest possible confusion", including correspondence between Fairfax and the Earl of Manchester at the time of the Civil War. Suggests that these should be sorted and bound.
