Title | Letter from B.C.Williams to Viscount Mandeville, Kimbolton |
Description | Williams has sent a letter to Gentleman Carey's nephew, a Chancery Barrister, to explain the Viscounts wish to borrow £10,000. Also asked whether he would examine the deeds or whether to have them approved by a conveyancing counsel. His reply asked for the papers to be shown to Mr. Skymmer, the Conveyancer who previously approved the Viscounts marriage settlement. When the deed is ready, Jarvill will let his Lordship know. Advises his Lordship defer his visit to London so he can sign the deed in the presence of two witnesses. Lady Mandeville can also sign it at the same time.
With regard to account made out between his Lordship and Lady Olivia Sparrow, had no idea Loftie paid her Ladyship out of his rents and so Lady Sparrow owes 14.18.8. |
