k) letter to Benjamin Green from Thomas Hopper, about the confusion over the estimates, which agreed with his own ideas of the costs (1850)
l) letter to Benjamin Green from R.N. Beauford [?], Bletsoe [Beds]: he has showed the correspondence to the Duke. The plan was not adopted because of the ugliness, rather than the cost, but he thinks the late Duchess may have given orders. Suggests compensation of £50 (1850).
