Title | Letter from Lady Olivia Bernard Sparrow to her grandson, Lord Kimbolton, at Sandhurst |
Description | Doesn't think his mother and father would approve of doing what he proposes at the moment. Although she would like to propose it, she must go against it for now. Will write to the oyster man to send him a good sized barrel of oysters every week. Tell her when he thinks of moving. Awaiting to hear from his mother, who last stopped in Bonlague [Bonaguil?] but not Paris it seems. Saw his aunt Georgiana and his cousins. Evans has grown into a great boy, also William. Talks of her visit to to Bovingdon and found Lord William much bother. Kind compliments to Doctor Pickering and give her love to Herbert. |
