TitleLetter from Lord Robert Montagu, Hastings, to Lord Kimbolton, Sandhurst
DescriptionSupposes he might be angry for not him not writing but he's been drawing a difficult but small drawing. Hardlu any snow, nothing but autumn. Fred and Livy are not very well. He is also unwell but says nothing of it. Supposes Lord Kim has been to see Doctor Verity. Supposes Bubasee/ bunty(?) is going away, but he never asked or expressed his pleasure that Lord Kim got into Sandhurst so "mamma and we gave him severe cuts". Dr.Cooke sends kind regards. A great wind blew an American ship of the line. Asks not to show this letter to anyone as it's so badly written. Gogger gave him an old watch.
