TitleLetter from Lady Olivia Bernard Sparrow to her grandson, Lord Kimbolton in Bury St.Edmunds [Suffolk]
DescriptionHad a letter from his mother, had grown weary of not hearing from her. They have been very ill. Glad he liked Isaacson [Lord Kimbolton is residing with Reverend Isaacson] and trusts Lord Kim finds that profit and pleasure go together. Knows Bury well. Lady Florence Balfour has been here a fortnight, Lord Kim must have been at her house in Ireland as she asked much about him. Had a Spaniard here called Colonel Hezeta [possibly José Hezeta] whoms she describes as a "very pleasing man"that is shaking off popish errors and acting on a growing Protestant principles. Hopes he's reading the 'History of Reformation' book.
