DescriptionThe book contains memoranda of audits and lists of officers chosen; there is no strict chronological order and nineteenth century memoranda appear among the seventeenth century entries; there is a note dated 30 Sep. 1698, that the parish constable was acquitted from the charge that he refused to receive vagrants travelling from St. Neotts to Cambridge, (page 118); constables' summary accounts (c.1652-1710), presented to the vestry appear at the rear of the book, together with a note of a 9 penny rate levied in 1812; on the last page is a list of items for the chancel and chapel which were handed over to the new churchwarden, 29 June 1631. The first and last few pages are damaged and partly missing.
