DescriptionReplying to Rowley's letter about the Reform Meeting. Disputes what might have been said by Mr. Hatfield and company about the past history of the town and its connection with the Sandwich family. The town has derived no little advantage from this connection. Has now decided to take no further interest in anything connected with Huntingdon as a Borough. Cannot understand Rowley's saying that when he wished to communicate with her on any affairs of business, she seemed to decline it.
