DescriptionDeals mainly with the appointment of Colonel Egerton and the Rt. Hon. A.H. Smith Barry as Trustees under the Settled Land Acts to cover the Brampton Entailed Estate and all the fee farm rents to which Lord Sandwich is tenant in tail with reversion the Crown. There is some discussion of the amount of rent payable from various of the lands. Two of the letters also deal with the redemption of the fee farm rent payable on the Manor of Aldwick, co. Sussex, by Mr. Fletcher and his Trustees.
