DescriptionRecites: 1) Lease and Release of 6th - 7th July, 1768 (Hinch 3/4). 2) Lease and Release and Bargain & Sale 16th-17th May, 1765. 1. John Lord Viscount Spencer. 2. William Poyntz and Thomas Parker. 1 To 2 lands in co. Berkshire, subject to the payment from them of an annuity of £400 to Michael Hillersdon Esq. during his life. 3) Upon the treaty of purchase (Hinch 3/4) William Poyntz promised to pay the annuity himself and not to charge the land sold with it. Now 1 demises to 2., the trustee for 3., as security for the promise to pay the annuity. All those messuages etc in Midgham, Thatcham, Woolhampton, Bradfield, Bucklebury, Aldermaston, Englefield and Burghfield, co. Berkshire, which were late the estate of John Lord Viscount Spencer, and which were conveyed to William Poyntz by indentures of 16th-17th May, 1765, excepting those lands conveyed by 1. by indentures of 6th-7th July, 1768.
