Description1 To 3 The 38 pieces of ground in the p. of St. Martin in the Fields, St. Giles in the Fields and St.Anne, Westminster, co. Middlesex, which were conveyed to various uses by a Release of 2nd July, 1717 (Hinch/2/110-111), the messuage erected in the place of the old messuage known by the sign of The Cushion, being without Temple Bar in Ford Street in the p. of St. Clement Danes, co. Middlesex (further described), the messuage in Carbuncle Street otherwise Crossbrook Street and 2 closes of land, containing about 9 acres, lying on the backside of the messuage, all being near Theobalds in the p. of Chesthunt, co, Hertford, the manor, messuage, tenement or farm commonly called Joyes otherwise Joyce in the p. of Dartford, co. Kent, and the 200 acres of land belonging to it, 100 acres of land in Bichington in the p. of St. Nicholas Atwood or Vill of Wood and in the p. of Minster in the Isle of Thanet, co. Kent, a messuage and piece of land containing 2½ acres, lying in Birchington, 4 acres of land in the p. of Birchington and 5 messuages in or near Princes Court in the p. of St Margaret Lothbury in the City of London.
