DescriptionRecites: 1) Mortgage of 1st-2nd September, 1784 (annexed to Hinch 2/51) 2) The death since then of the 4th Earl of Sandwich. 3) The Declaration of Trust of 24th June, 1786 (Hinch 2/51). This concerned John Stephenson the elder. 4) The death and will of the elder Stephenson, which made his son, John Stephenson the younger, the residuary legatee. 5) The death and will of the younger Stephenson, whereby he gave all his property to his wife Susan, now the wife of 2. 1., the surviving executors of this will, are now the only personal representatives of the two John Stephensons. 6) 2 married Susan Stephenson, widow, and their marriage settlement of 9th March, 1796, by which 2 became entitled to the residue of the personal estate of the two Stephensons. 7) Articles of Agreement of 1st February, 1798 1 covenanted with 2 to assign to him all the unadministered estate, effects etc., of the two Stephensons. Now 1 assigns to 2 The sum of £1,800 and the recited Declaration of Trust with attested copy of Release annexed. 1 also appoint 2 their attorney.
