TitleDeclaration of Trust. Recites: John Stephenson of Scotts Yard in the City of London, Esq., has paid to Robert Palmer, Robert Mackreth and Robert Burton, £1,800, to be applied by them for the benefit of John, Earl of Sandwich, towards the making up of the sum of £25,000 mentioned in the annexed Release, and they have applied the same accordingly. Now Robert Palmer, Robert Mackreth and Robert Burton declare that they will hold part of the security in trust for John Stephenson.
DescriptionAnnexed: Attested copy of Release (Part of a Mortgage by Lease and Release) 2nd September, 1784. 1. Rt. Hon. John, 4th Earl of Sandwich. 2. Robert Palmer of Great Russell Street in the p. of St. George Bloomsbury, co. Middlesex, Esq., Robert Mackreth of Ewhurst, co. Hampshire Esq., and Robert Burton of Lincolns Inn, co. Middlesex, Esq. Recites: Bond of 1 to 2 in £50,000 of 2nd September, 1784. Now for better securing the repayment of the £25,000 lent by 2 to 1 1 conveys to 2 Land etc, as in the Lease and Release of 21st-22nd February, 1764 (Hinch 2/10) with the exception of the premises in Eynesbury, Huntingdon and Hartford settled by the Lease and Release of 23rd-24th August, 1771. (Hinch 2/16-17) Mentions that all or part of the land also subject to mortgages of £22,000, £500, £2,000 and £900 to Sir Lawrence Dundas, the Rev. Dr. Walton and the Rev. Dr. Dampier, and an annuity for life of £75 to Mrs. Montague, the widow of Hon. William Montagu, brother of 1.
