Accused by Joseph Southwell, tailor, March, Isle of Ely, of stealing from him at St.Ives Fair, a pocket book containing memoranda and a power of attorney for Southwells son in America to receive money on his father's behalf. Witnesses describe watching the suspicious actions of Paul and three other pickpockets (of Williams' case).
