DescriptionWilliam Caffall, Rickmansworth, Hertford, farmer about buying the horse from Butler and reading later in the Police Gazette a description of the gelding stolen from Mr. Butt to whom he wrote. Mr. Caffall said he had known Butler for about 12 years and had always considered him an honest man; Henry Richards constable of Hartford.
