Reynolds, Esq., to Robert Castel Sherard, Esq in which, as a very old friend of Sherard's father, he advises him to use great caution, in Quarter Sessions, in dealing with the question of the liability of the Borough for the maintenance of felons convicted of offences committed within the Borough. Mr. Reynolds cites the precedents of Cambridge, Northampton and Bedford.
