TitleDeposition: (1) John Bidwell, Somersham, Shepherd to Mr. Geo. Ekins of Warboys, alleging he had been assaulted by four Warboys men, William Howe the younger, turfman, Martin Hodson the younger, gardener, Edward Grange junior, turfman, and Joseph Setchell, labourer, who, on his refusing to treat them at the White Hart Ale House, had beaten him and the mare he was riding; from William Watson, a farmer, who came to the rescue of Bidwell. (2) Thomas Grange, turfman, Warboys, alleging a similar assault the same day by Howe, Hodson and Setchell; from John Harvey, farmer, confirming Grange's statement.
